Pepijn van den Nieuwendijk

Pepijn van den Nieuwendijk (Waddinxveen, 1970), 'Harubian Icons', oil on panel, 30 x 40 cm., 2010. The Dutch painter and ceramist, Pepijn van den Nieuwendijk, studied Graphic- en Typographic design at the Royal Academy of Fine and Applied Arts in The Hague. He has always been fascinated by historical and fairy-like characters: his work seems to be a mysterious dream world, ancient and modern at the same time. In 2008 he was participated with a ceramic installation at Fule International Ceramic Art Museums (FLICAM) in Fuping, China.
