Johanne Cullen

Johanne Cullen (Quebec City, 1959), Lady Bug, oil on canvas, 31 x 38 cm. The Canadian Johanne Cullen graduated with a degree in Fine Art from the University of Quebec in Montreal. Her career has included many portraits, paintings, etc, commissioned for movie and television sets; and paintings for numerous covers of novels. Johanne currently lives and works in Montreal and has had numerous solo and group shows in North America and in Europe. Her work is collected internationally and she has been widely interviewed and published. Her realistic technique and the well-considered approach to the composition of an often-impossible situation of her own creation make the viewer totally believe her vision when it appears on canvas.
