Edith van Campfort

Edith van Campfort (Heemskerk, The Netherlands), Matthias, oil on canvas, 90 x 90 cm., 2009. Edith van Campfort, who worked as an autodidact artist, decided in 2003 to follow the third and fourth year of the art education at Crejat in Alkmaar, focusing on drawing and painting. Her colourful pop-art portraits of people from different nationalities were shown at many exhibitions, after she was awarded with the public prize in 2004.
